[KB-010] Why can't I use the upper side buttons as a separate hotkey in Batocera?

The Tankstick MAX features two buttons on each side (four total). These buttons are mounted underneath the control panel MDF surface, making them less visible from a top-down perspective and potentially difficult to identify in product photos.

The upper side buttons are mapped as mouse clicks for the trackball. This is a hardware-level mapping that cannot be changed. The X-Arcade trackball assembly buttons function as standard mouse buttons (Left, Right, and Middle/Scroll wheel click) at the hardware level and cannot be reassigned to keyboard keys directly.

Because of this fixed mapping, you cannot use the upper side buttons as separate hotkeys. If you need separate Select and Hot Key buttons, you will need to use the lower side buttons, or configure buttons on the main control panel for this purpose.
