Completed no-light diagnostics need a focused review path
Automation Draft Weakness
After the customer had completed cross-PC, rear-connector, reset, and no-light checks, the automation repeated a request for rear/cable photos before suggesting any next path.
Manual Reply Improvement
Matt treated the completed diagnostic pattern as a possible PCB problem, then arranged a staged replacement path: test the replacement cable first and replace the PCB only if needed.
New Drafting Rule
When a customer has already completed the no-light/no-detection checklist across more than one PC, acknowledge that sequence explicitly. Do not diagnose a board failure or promise a replacement, but avoid repeating already-completed tests; request only genuinely missing identification evidence or use a short human-review holding reply.
Storage Decision
Proposed diagnostic-quality improvement. The replacement kit and its order are case-specific and do not establish a warranty or parts policy.
