Ticket 31086 produced a customer-confirmed support signal: after a wireless dongle / controller lighting issue, the customer replied that pressing and holding the X logo and then pressing P1 Turbo fixed the issue.

Reusable Drafting Rule

When an Arcade2TV-XR customer reports the touch panel or controller lights are off, dim, or behaving unexpectedly after a dongle/controller setup step, include the brightness shortcut early in the diagnostic path:

• press and hold the X logo on the touch panel;
• press P1 Turbo to increase/restore brightness;
• then confirm whether the panel lights return before moving into deeper firmware, dongle, or PCB diagnostics.

Boundaries

This confirms the shortcut helped one customer restore the lighting/control-panel symptom. It does not prove a fix for no USB detection, failed firmware updates, dead dongles, or no-power board failures.
