Tankstick joystick/buttons inactive in cabinet

Useful Answer

If a new Tankstick is installed in an X-Arcade cabinet and Windows detects the device but the joystick/buttons do not respond, test the unit outside the cabinet on another PC first. If the issue persists, ask for a short video of the mode switch and physical behavior.

One possible cause on newer MAX-style units is the programming button being constantly pressed. The programming button was repositioned to make room for added spinners, and in some cabinet installs it can be pressed unintentionally near the cable outlet.
