Installing the X-Arcade Theme on RetroPie

The X-arcade theme is designed to enhance your RetroPie experience, bringing a customized arcade-inspired layout to your system. Follow the steps below to install the theme.

Prerequisites

Make sure you have:

• A RetroPie system set up and running.
• A keyboard connected to your RetroPie system or SSH access for remote commands.

Installation Instructions

1. Access the Terminal:

• If you're using EmulationStation, press [F4] to enter the terminal.
• Alternatively, you can access the terminal remotely via SSH if you’ve set it up.

1. Run the Commands:

• Enter each of the following commands carefully. Ensure they’re typed exactly as shown, as any errors may prevent the theme from installing correctly.

cd
wget https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/xgaming/collections.sh
chmod +x collections.sh
sudo ./collections.sh

1. Wait for Installation to Complete:

• After executing the commands, the script will download and configure the X-Arcade theme on your system.
• Once finished, type 'reboot' and hit enter to reboot.

1. Verify the Installation:

• Upon reboot, navigate through the interface to confirm the new Xarcade theme has been applied.

Troubleshooting

• Command not found: Ensure each command is entered exactly as displayed.
• Network issues: If using SSH or downloading the theme fails, check your network connection and try again.
