Can I replace the trackball in the X-Arcade with a translucent or illuminated trackball?

The X-Arcade controllers use standard 3" trackballs that can be replaced with any other standard 3" trackballs.

As for lighting a trackball, you can mount an LED to the bottom of the trackball housing for this, but you must be sure to get the power for the LED from a safe location (either from the incoming power from the USB port on the PCB, or a battery for example).
